Good morning you old man winter. It was quite the storm for early October.

ELK HUNT 2008. EEE-YOLK, EEE-YOLK, EEE-YOLK!

Early morning breakfast

Shelter from the rain
Most of the scenery is beautiful
If you look hard, you can see bigfoot running just behind the pine tree.
Gorgeous!

SWEET SUCCESS!

Justin was an awesome hunting partner. This dude could spot a fly sitting on a log a hundred yards away!

Now the work begins
Collecting the delectable meat
What is that hangy thing?
Yes, the sweet state of Utah wanted us to haul the dang head out for testing. Lots of fun.

Once you have your tag filled, you earn the right to sleep in the next day and watch the sun rise from camp. It was awesome.

A very happy Kyle after sweet success on the last day.
Again, most of the scenery around Bean Ridge is really quite beautiful
The meat haulers
The meat getters

A real Bean Ridge beauty. (the elk)

Inspecting the rigs after another successful ride out of the bog.

The fruits of labor waiting to be attended to at home.
